Play is the point.
An independent journal for curious players, and the good games that don’t ask for an entry fee.
KAVRIQON begins with a small belief: your next favourite game should be easier to find than the purchase button.
A field guide, with a point of view.
We bring together free online games, explain what makes them different and make the practical details easier to compare. Some recommendations are competitive. Some are cooperative. Two run in a browser. All offer a way to begin without buying the base game.
This is an English-language editorial website made for a Canadian audience. KAVRIQON is the journal’s name; it is not the name of a game developer or a claim that we represent any publisher.
What you’ll find here.
The first issue contains fourteen individual field guides, a searchable catalogue and a deliberately varied starter list. Each guide separates a game’s identity, mechanics and history from the question of what its free access actually includes.
Our descriptions and recommendations are original editorial writing. Factual details are grounded in publisher and storefront sources, linked within each guide. These are desk-researched guides; we do not claim every title has been independently play-tested, benchmarked or measured for Canadian latency.
Independent by design.
There are no paid placements, display ads, affiliate codes, user accounts or newsletter forms in this edition. External game links lead to official services. We do not run game servers, sell items, supply account credentials or offer “free currency”.
Keep a little perspective.
A game can be free to start and still ask a lot of your time, attention or money. We identify optional purchases and the most relevant limitations. We encourage you to check age ratings, device requirements and social settings on the official platform.
A living subject. A dated issue.
Online games change. This issue’s source check is dated 4 November 2026; the weekly feature belongs to 2–8 November 2026. Those dates describe this edition, not a promise of automatic daily updates.
